Hanze Honours Society

Honours education is innovative education that focuses on the students. Within this program students that want, can and dare to do more, get the opportunity to take control of the development of their personal and professional talents with an eye for people and society.

Honours provides students with the chance to challenge themselves in addition to regular education. Students can do this by increasing the breadth and depth of their knowledge. The students can study subjects that fit their own discipline and they can broaden themselves by following classes of a completely different program or by doing interdisciplinary projects. Interdisciplinary collaboration will lead to creative, surprising and meaningful perspectives.

Since the program gives you enough space and responsibility, every honours student can create their own honours challenge. This gives them the chance to develop their own interest, but will also give them the possibility to find out what they’re passionate about.
