Hanze Honours Society

Always wanted to take a look to see how liqueur is distilled? That’s good, because on the 24th of April, we are having a tour at Hooghoudt!

Hooghoudt is originally a family company which started in Groningen, and been there since its establishment in 1888. The liqueur they made was adapted to the wishes of the visitors of the store. During our visit, we will take a look through the company itself and are being told about the origins and the growth of the company. And of course we will finish the tour with a professional tasting, where we also learn techniques in the area of smell, how to taste and the taste itself.
